This weekend, Volkswagen Team Swedens home event is coming up when “Volkswagen World RX of Sweden” is organized in Höljes, in the north of Värmland county.

Ole-Christian Veiby and Johan Kristoffersson, happy after Shake down completed!

The home event is named #Magicweekend among visitors for a reason and this is the place to be if you are interested in Motorsport in Sweden. The organizer expects +40.000 spectators and the surrounding forest is full of tents, caravans and Mobil homes in an incredible party from Tuesday to Sunday, at a location which normally is inhabited by 200 residents, elks, wolves, bears and mosquitoes.

The interest is exceeding all expectation, the Volkswagen dealers VIP hospitality program is fully booked since long and the Grand stand will be crowded of Volkswagen fans!

One year ago the Polo R WRX made its maiden WRX event in Holjes, Sweden. Since that event, the entire team has been looking forward to be back with a possibility to fight for the podium. After a successful start of the season, the team is full of confidence and as preparations has been thoroughly taken care of, it is all set for an exciting 6:th event in the FIA World Rallycross Championship 2015.

During the previous event in Germany, Volkswagen Team Sweden managed to qualify with both Polo R WRX in the final, finishing a strong 4:th and 5:th. With Johan Kristoffersson holding an amazing second position as Runner-up overall in the championship, Tord Linnerud scoring his best result so far and together with young Ole-Christian Veiby who is making his first appearance in WRX this year, Volkswagen Team Sweden is really looking strong entering three Volkswagen Polo R WRX on the Grid!

Today, the final Shake down was completed for all three Polo R WRX. Now the cars are loaded on the truck together with spare parts and all equipment to leave tomorrow for the shortest trip of the season…
